Baylor’s quarterback situation remains unsettled ahead of its Week 2 game against Prairie View A&M. DJ Lagway is expected to miss the matchup after suffering an ankle injury during the Bears’ season opener against Auburn.
Lagway’s availability has not been fully determined. A report from college football insider Pete Thamel said it is unclear whether Lagway will be in uniform for the game. The report did not establish that he will be ruled out.
Lagway produced 333 yards in the opener before the injury. Baylor is scheduled to face Prairie View A&M in Week 2, with the quarterback’s status still pending.
