Denton County early voting opens Oct. 19 with extended weekend hours

Early voting for the upcoming election is scheduled to begin on Monday, Oct. 19, and will continue through Friday, Oct. 30. Residents of The Colony may cast their ballots at any early voting location within Denton County.

The city has identified specific nearby sites for convenience, including Frisco Fire Station No. 7 at 330 West Stonebrook and the Carrollton Public Library at 4220 North Josey Lane.

The voting schedule includes extended hours over the weekend. From Monday, Oct. 19, through Friday, Oct. 23, polls will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Saturday, Oct. 24, voting hours are set from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Sunday, Oct. 25, will see polls open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The final week of early voting, from Monday, Oct. 26, to Friday, Oct. 30, will operate from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
