The outcome of this contest was settled in the bottom of the eighth inning when Corey Seager launched a 418-foot home run to right center field. The swing provided three runs, pushing the Texas Rangers' lead from 2-1 to 5-1 and effectively closing the door on Baltimore's hopes for a comeback.
Early Scoring Exchange
The game began with an offensive spark from Baltimore in the top of the first inning. Ryan Duran was driven in by a Holliday home run that traveled 403 feet to right field, giving the Orioles an early 1-0 advantage.
The Rangers responded in the bottom of the second. Josh Jung grounded into a fielder's choice to shortstop, allowing Adolis Garcia to score and tie the game at 1-1. The momentum shifted further for Texas later in the frame when Seager reached on an infield single to shortstop, driving in Nathan Eovaldi as Garcia scored on a throwing error by shortstop Gunnar Henderson.

Pitching Performances
Jacob deGrom was the starting pitcher for Texas, delivering five innings of work. He allowed three hits and one earned run while striking out nine batters and walking one. His performance earned him the win, improving his record to 8-7 on the season.
Baltimore's Kyle Bradish took the loss after pitching six innings. He surrendered five hits and one earned run, recording four strikeouts against no walks. His record fell to 7-11.
