The City of The Colony has opened registration for the upcoming Winter Youth Basketball season. The program is available to boys and girls who are between the ages of 5 and 13 as of September 1, 2026.

Registration runs from August 1 through October 5. The city notes that late registration will be accepted only if space allows, but participation during this period is not guaranteed. Participants should plan accordingly to ensure their spot in the league.

The fee for the season is $110 for residents of The Colony and $130 for non-residents. These fees cover the cost of the program, which includes organized practices and competitive games.

Practices are scheduled to begin in late October. The first games for the season will take place on November 14. Teams and schedules will be determined following the registration period.

Residents interested in signing up their children can visit PlayTCSports.com for more information and to complete the registration process. For additional questions or assistance, individuals may contact the Athletics Staff directly via email at [email protected].

The Winter Youth Basketball season provides an opportunity for local youth to engage in organized sports during the colder months. The city encourages families to register early to avoid potential capacity issues associated with late registration.
