Scoring Breakdown

The Rangers struck first in the second inning when Adolis Garcia drove in one run with a double, followed by two more runs on an Alex Bregman single, making the score 0-3. However, the Astros quickly took control in the fourth inning when Marcus Semien scored on a Corey Seager single to tie the game at 4-4.

The fifth inning proved pivotal for Houston. Yainer Diaz launched a home run to left-center field, extending the lead to 5-4. He was followed by Alex Bregman, who also hit a home run to left center, pushing the score to 6-4.

He was supported by a relief corps that kept the Rangers off the board in the late innings. AJ Blubaugh secured a perfect inning with a strikeout, and Bryan King closed out the game with a scoreless frame, allowing one hit.
