Texas A&M edge rusher Anto Saka has been recognized on The Athletic's 2026 "Freaks List," an annual compilation of exceptional college football athletes, as announced by the school. Bruce Feldman, who compiles the list, referred to Saka as "the freakiest of a very gifted D-line room."

Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 255 pounds, Saka is a graduate student from Baltimore who transferred to College Station from Northwestern. He is part of a defensive line that includes Sam M'Pemba, a redshirt junior from Georgia, who measures 6-foot-3 and weighs 257 pounds.

The Freaks List highlights remarkable athletic testing metrics in college football, based on reports from strength coaches and programs. It focuses on raw physical capabilities rather than on-field performance, allowing players to be recognized before they take the field for their new teams. Texas A&M did not disclose Saka's specific ranking on the list.

This announcement comes as the Aggies are currently engaged in Fall Camp, preparing for their season opener on September 5 at Kyle Field.
