Lewisville ISD announced Sept. 14 that Gene Yarrobino will serve as the district’s new chief human resource officer, according to a district news post.
Superintendent Dr. Lori Rapp said Yarrobino’s human resources background and his classroom and campus leadership experience will help the district. She also said he will help continue fostering the district’s ONE LISD culture.
Yarrobino joins Lewisville ISD from Frisco ISD, where he has served as managing director of human resources since 2023. He also worked as an elementary principal in Frisco ISD from 2021 to 2023, the district said.
Earlier in his career, Yarrobino taught elementary school in New York’s East Meadow School District, then taught third and sixth grade in Etiwanda, California, after moving there in 2003. He later spent 10 years as an elementary assistant principal and principal, according to Lewisville ISD.
