Baylor football has unveiled its projected offensive starters as the team prepares for the upcoming season. The announcement follows the second week of fall camp, with the lineup beginning to take shape.

DJ Lagway will be the starting quarterback, with coaches highlighting his strong performance since joining the team. Lagway expressed confidence in the offensive system designed by Jake Spavital, which aims to enhance his skills for a competitive Big 12 season.

Dawson Pendergrass is expected to take on the role of starting running back after missing last season. Pendergrass previously recorded over 670 rushing yards and six touchdowns in his first two years, showcasing a physical running style and pass-catching ability.

The wide receiver positions are likely to feature Louis Brown IV and Dre'lon Miller, with Brown anticipated to be the primary deep threat. Gavin Freeman, a transfer from Oklahoma State, is projected as the slot receiver, known for his speed and agility.

Tony Livingston, joining the team after two years at Florida, will play tight end, bringing valuable experience. The offensive line will consist of Logan Moore at left tackle, Nate Kibble at left guard, Koltin Sieracki at center, and Asher Hale at right guard, with the right tackle position still to be determined. Further details on the right tackle and other potential starters remain unclear.
