Texas A&M is set to face Arkansas on Oct. 3 at 7 p.m. EST in Week 5. The Razorbacks also enter the game with a 2-2 record.
The Aggies, ranked No. 23, fell to No. 10 LSU, but coach Mike Elko said the defeat would not lead to a quarterback change. Asked about the possibility of removing Reed from the starting role, Elko responded, “No.” TexAgs posted the exchange on X, and Yahoo Sports reported it.
Reed finished the LSU game with 10 completions on 26 attempts, totaling 106 yards and one interception. The resulting 38.4% completion percentage was identified in the report as possibly the lowest of his college career. Over four games this season, Reed has produced 738 passing yards, six touchdown throws and four interceptions.
He has completed 55.4% of his passes, a career-low mark, while adding 104 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. In the previous season, Reed recorded 3,169 passing yards and 25 touchdowns.
