The Houston Texans have signed cornerback Bryce Hall to strengthen their roster ahead of a preseason matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders. General manager Nick Caserio confirmed the signing on August 17, following Hall's workout with the team.

At 28 years old, Hall brings experience from his time with the New York Jets and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was selected 158th overall in the 2020 NFL Draft's fifth round. Throughout his career, Hall has played in 40 games, starting 26 of them.

His statistics include 122 tackles, two interceptions, one fumble recovery, one defensive touchdown, and half a sack. Standing at 6-foot-1, he is expected to add versatility and contribute to special teams, which the Texans are looking to enhance.

The Texans are currently navigating injury challenges in their secondary, with players such as Tank Dell and Brevin Jordan sidelined due to various injuries. Hall's addition comes at a crucial time as the team seeks to bolster its depth and experience on special teams. Updates regarding the Texans' roster and injury status are expected as the preseason continues.
