Houston Texans coach DeMeco Ryans said Nico Collins and Ed Ingram may be available Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys after sitting out Houston’s last two games. The Texans are hopeful both can return for the Week 4 matchup. The game is scheduled for noon at Reliant Stadium.
Collins, a Pro Bowl wide receiver and three-time 1,000-yard receiver, has been absent as Houston has had difficulty producing outside the numbers. Dalton Schultz has been the team’s primary exception. Xavier Hutchinson paced Houston with nine receptions totaling 120 yards across the two games, while Collins had seven catches for 75 yards and a touchdown in one game against the Buffalo Bills.
Ingram’s absence has put Wyatt Teller at right guard. Houston has totaled 130 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown in its last two games. Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, sidelined for two games with a knee injury, is still considered week-to-week.
