General manager Nick Caserio indicated that while Dell is making strides, he must still regain his peak speed, which is vital for his performance. Prior to his injury, Dell had become a significant asset for quarterback C.J. Stroud, achieving 98 catches for 1,376 yards and scoring 10 touchdowns in his first two seasons. With Dell sidelined, other receivers like Boutte and Noel will have the chance to develop their rapport with Stroud, allowing the Texans to evaluate their offensive needs during his absence.
