The Dallas Cowboys concluded their 2026 training camp on Wednesday at The Star, bringing an end to practices that began on July 29. This marks a significant moment for fans in The Colony, as the team prepares to face the New Orleans Saints in their final preseason game before solidifying their 53-man roster for the upcoming regular season.
Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb emerged as a key player during the last practice, demonstrating his skills after limited participation in earlier sessions. He connected with quarterback Dak Prescott for multiple completions, including a touchdown catch over cornerback Cobie Durant. Lamb also executed a remarkable one-handed catch for another touchdown during red zone drills.
Conversely, cornerback Cobie Durant encountered difficulties, allowing two touchdowns, one to Lamb and another to George Pickens. Despite this, Durant has established himself as a starting cornerback alongside DaRon Bland throughout the training camp. Linebacker Jaishawn Barham also impressed, showing his aggressiveness on defense and pressuring Prescott during a simulated blitz, indicating his consistent improvement since the second preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals.
With the Cowboys gearing up for their final preseason matchup, the team remains optimistic about their offensive capabilities and overall performance heading into the regular season.
