As the 2026 NFL season approaches, the Dallas Cowboys are preparing with a roster that remains largely healthy. The team has managed to steer clear of significant injuries during the offseason, hoping to maintain this trend throughout the year.

Currently, two players on the active roster are dealing with injuries. Defensive lineman Jonathan Bullard is sidelined with an abs/groin issue. He was seen engaging in rehabilitation activities as of September 1, suggesting he might be available for the season opener, though further recovery time may be necessary.

Guard Ajani Cornelius, who has shown potential in training camp, is also on the mend. Although he missed practice on September 2, he was observed participating in rehab work on September 1, indicating he could be ready for the first game, contingent upon his recovery progress.

Additionally, linebacker Marist Liufau and cornerback Devin Moore have been placed on injured reserve. Liufau sustained a fractured forearm during the preseason finale, which required surgical intervention. Moore is contending with a hip injury, following previous groin issues. Given Moore's injury history, his ability to contribute this season remains uncertain.

Updates on Bullard and Cornelius are anticipated as the week unfolds, while Liufau and Moore will be unavailable for at least the first month of the season.
