As the Baylor Bears prepare for their season opener against Auburn, the offensive line is experiencing notable changes. Only one full-time starter, Kaden Sieracki at right tackle, is returning, creating uncertainty for the team.

The situation has become more complicated due to the exit of Yakiri Walker, a Memphis transfer who was anticipated to take on the center position but is now a coach after his injunction was denied.

In response to Walker's departure, Koltin Sieracki has emerged as a primary candidate for the center role. Offensive line coach Austin Woods remarked on Koltin's significant practice time during the summer, indicating he is ready to start against Auburn. Woods commended Sieracki's ability to lead and communicate effectively on the field, noting his high-level performance.

Koltin Sieracki, standing 6 feet 4 inches tall and weighing 317 pounds, played as the sixth lineman for Baylor last season, starting at both center and right guard in three games. While initially slated to play guard this season, he has shifted his focus to center, a position he prefers.

"I actually prefer center," Sieracki stated, highlighting his comfort and enjoyment of the role's physical demands.

The offensive line configuration continues to evolve, with Nate Kibble, a Texas transfer, and Asher Hale from South Alabama reportedly working alongside Sieracki at guard. Logan Moore, a transfer from UAB, is positioned at left tackle, while Toledo transfer Cole Rhett is being utilized in various roles, suggesting he may be vying for a starting position or could take on Sieracki's former sixth lineman role.

Woods noted the steady progress of Rhett and Hale as they gain experience during fall camp, with the final offensive line lineup yet to be determined as the team approaches its matchup against Auburn.
