Acy is the son of Quincy Acy, a former Baylor forward who played for the Bears from 2008 to 2012. Quincy Acy earned a place on the All-Big 12 Defensive Team for the 2011-12 season. His work near the basket included scoring, rebounding and blocking shots.
Bear Acy's size is described as useful on both offense and defense. The report says he can protect the basket, interfere with passes and produce blocks and deflections. If he eventually chooses Baylor, coach Scott Drew could guide another member of the Acy family after coaching Quincy during all four of his Baylor seasons.
