Von Miller, who leads the NFL in career sacks, has officially signed a one-year contract with the Dallas Cowboys. The announcement was made by Miller via an Instagram post, where he shared his enthusiasm with the phrase, "Hereee Weee Gooo."

A DeSoto, Texas native, Miller has a deep connection to the area and previously played college football at Texas A&M. As he enters his 15th NFL season, he brings experience from his last year with the Washington Commanders, where he had 26 tackles and nine sacks in 17 games.

Miller is a two-time Super Bowl champion, winning titles with the Denver Broncos in 2015 and the Los Angeles Rams in 2021. He was selected second overall in the 2011 NFL Draft and has also played for the Buffalo Bills. With a total of 138.5 career sacks, he is tied for 13th all-time alongside DeMarcus Ware, a former Cowboy.

His career statistics include 607 tackles, 271 quarterback hits, and 27 forced fumbles over 203 games, along with eight Pro Bowl selections and three First Team All-Pro honors. The Cowboys will kick off their 2026 regular season on September 13 against the New York Giants in a Sunday Night Football game.
