THE COLONY, Texas — The Colony Community Development Corporation has posted notice of a public hearing on a new community project. The City Council agenda for next week's regular meeting is available at thecolonytx.gov.

The city continues to see commercial growth anchored by Grandscape, which recently added the first White Castle restaurant in Texas and Toca Social, an interactive soccer entertainment venue.

With FIFA World Cup matches continuing at nearby AT&T Stadium in Arlington — roughly 30 minutes away — local businesses are preparing for a surge of international visitors. Argentina defeated Austria at AT&T Stadium on June 22.

The public hearing details will be posted on the city website.
