The Colony Police Department is currently developing a 5-Year Strategic Plan and is seeking direct feedback from residents regarding the future of public safety in the city. The department has announced two Community Forum sessions where attendees can share their voice, ask questions, express concerns, help identify community priorities, and build connections with law enforcement.

The first forum will take place on Wednesday, August 19, at 6:00 PM in the City Council Chamber located at 6053 Main St., The Colony, TX. A second session is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, at 9:00 AM in the City Municipal Courtroom at 5151 N. Colony Blvd., The Colony, TX.

The announcement specifies that attendance at both sessions is not required. Residents are encouraged to choose the date and time that best fits their schedule. The department states that feedback, concerns, ideas, and priorities shared during these events will help shape the future of the police department and the community over the next five years.

No registration information or additional logistical details were provided in the official announcement. Residents wishing to participate should attend one of the listed locations at the specified times.
