The City of The Colony has announced a closure of its utility billing office. Despite the physical office being closed, residents who wish to make payments to their accounts have several alternative methods available to them.

Customers may access automated phone systems to process transactions. Additionally, the online portal remains operational for those who prefer digital payment methods. For individuals who need to submit physical payments, the Night Dropbox located in the drive-thru on the south side of City Hall is available for use. The City Hall facility is located at 6053 Main St.

The city has acknowledged that this closure may cause inconvenience to residents and has issued an apology in advance for any disruption to services. The announcement does not specify the duration of the closure or the specific dates during which the office will be closed.

For further details regarding utility billing or to confirm the status of services, residents are directed to visit The Colony's Utility Billing webpage. Alternatively, individuals may contact the city directly by calling 972-625-1756.

This announcement is part of a series of updates from the City of The Colony. Other recent postings include information regarding urban wildlife, the Culture Series Season Two, the filing period for the November City Council election, registration for the Back 2 School Bash, and the return of the Summer Clubhouse program. The city notes that its government websites are powered by CivicPlus.
