The Colony has changed the date, venue and movie for its October Cinema Nights outing. Hocus Pocus will play at Stewart Creek Park at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, under the Cinema Frights name.

The screening replaces the Oct. 30 showing of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone that had been planned at Galaxy Theatres at Grandscape, according to the city’s updated announcement.

Family Fright Fest will take place at the park from 3 to 7 p.m. before the movie. Visitors can bring blankets or lawn chairs for the outdoor screening at 3700 Sparks Road.

Vehicles enter free with an annual park pass; otherwise, park entry costs $15 per vehicle. The Parks & Recreation Department can answer questions at 972-625-1106.
