Frisco is about 6 miles northeast of The Colony. Several new commercial ventures are preparing to open in the north part of the city, including a salon, a dental practice, and a restaurant.
Paul and Caren Wolf are set to open a new Boardroom Salon location. The couple, who have operated a Boardroom franchise in Plano for over ten years, will manage the new shop. Their previous business, Boardroom Salon for Men–Plano Lakeside Market, has served clients in that area for more than a decade. This new site will be the second Boardroom location in Frisco, joining another branch situated off Dallas Parkway.
Flourish Dental Boutique is also entering the market. The practice provides a variety of dental services, including oral examinations, cleanings, fillings, crowns, dentures, pediatric care, emergency treatments, teeth whitening, and veneers. According to its website, the clinic focuses on holistic dentistry. This approach integrates standard dental procedures with wellness strategies such as nutritional therapy.
In the Fields West development, Mastro’s Steakhouse has joined more than two dozen other businesses that have signed leases. The Fields West project is scheduled to open in phases between mid-2027 and 2028. Construction records filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation indicate that building work is expected to begin in early 2027, with the project slated for completion later that same year.
