Lewisville Man Held on Sexual Exploitation Charges

Alexander Lane Whitaker, 29, is being held without bond on three felony counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, according to officials with the Invictus Task Force.

The suspect was identified during a child sex investigation that began in May. Authorities stated they initiated the probe after receiving a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. As the inquiry progressed, Whitaker was named as the person of interest.

Investigators executed a search warrant on Thursday, leading to Whitaker's arrest. He was subsequently charged with three counts of felony second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. Officials confirmed he was transported to the Forsyth County Detention Center, where he remains detained without bond.

Whitaker is scheduled to appear in court on July 6. The investigation continues, and officials have not yet released additional details regarding the specific circumstances of the case or the identity of the alleged victim.
