Customers seeking baked goods from a Frisco porch operation often find that arriving late results in empty hands. The business, known as Little Bit Bakery, has drawn a dedicated group of shoppers who prioritize early morning hours to secure items before they sell out.
Delilah Navarette, a first-time visitor, admitted she was unaware of the necessary arrival time during her initial trip. She expressed concern that she might miss out entirely due to the high demand. Despite the early start, the experience has converted many into regular patrons.
Repeat customer Dana Eagle described the early wake-up call as worthwhile. She praised the quality of the items, noting that the taste justifies the wait. Eagle arrived shortly after 6 a.m. on a recent Saturday to purchase goods for herself and others.
The menu rotates weekly but typically features fresh sourdough loaves, English muffins, cinnamon rolls, and oatmeal cream pies. Henson, the owner, has scaled up production to meet this demand. On a typical Saturday, she bakes approximately 85 loaves of sourdough and nearly 100 English muffins, along with other items.
Henson began baking during the pandemic, initially decorating custom cakes from her home. She expanded the business last September by placing a bakery cart on her front porch. To handle the increased volume, she purchased a dedicated bread oven, which she credited as essential for her current output levels.
