Spa Castle Texas is reopening its Carrollton location on July 4 after completing a significant renovation project. The 100,000-square-foot facility, situated at 1020 Raiford Road, had closed the previous year to undergo the improvements. The property is located approximately 9 miles south of The Colony.

Stephanie Chon directed the $4.5 million investment for the project. She noted that a substantial portion of the work focused on hidden infrastructure, including new plumbing systems, updated boilers, and steam generators. The visible changes involve cosmetic updates and the installation of hydrotherapy equipment sourced from Korea, Japan, and Germany. Additional features include a river rock foot bath, expanded programming, and Korean beauty treatments.

The Carrollton site originally opened in 2012. The parent company, Spa Castle, was established in Queens, New York, by developer Steve Chon. This location represents one of several properties operated by the chain.

Further improvements are scheduled for the future. The next phase of construction will target the on-site hotel and 8,000 square feet of banquet and event space designed for weddings and corporate retreats. These specific amenities are expected to reopen in 2027. Details regarding the specific timeline for the hotel construction were not provided in the source material.
