The Colony Public Library will be closed Friday, Oct. 23, for staff development training, with reopening scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24.
The closure covers the library’s usual Friday service day of 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to the city’s calendar and library hours page. The library is at 6800 Main Street.
Patrons planning an in-person visit before the closure can use the library’s posted Tuesday-through-Thursday hours of 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Its regular Saturday hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The library’s reference desk can be reached at 972-625-1900, extension 3. The official calendar lists the staff-development closure separately from the library’s earlier October holiday closure.
