Houston maintained its offensive rhythm in the third quarter, scoring another 21 points. Keisean Henderson broke for a 54-yard rushing touchdown. The only scoring play for the visiting Jaguars came in this period when Wyatt McCauley threw a 79-yard touchdown pass to Wydell Clark Jr. The extra point was blocked by Christopher McKenna, leaving the score at 70-6 heading into the final quarter.
