Topgolf and the nonprofit Youth on Course have announced a partnership designed to increase youth engagement in golf. The collaboration provides discounted access to Topgolf venues for members of Youth on Course and its Alumni Network during the summer of 2026.

Under the terms of the agreement, eligible participants can use Topgolf bays for $5. This offer is available from July 1 through September 3. Access is limited to Monday through Thursday, specifically from the time the venues open until noon. The initiative aims to provide an affordable entry point for young people during the school break period.

David McKillips, chief executive officer of Topgolf, described the partnership as a natural extension of the company’s mission to create 10 million new golfers by 2030. He stated that early exposure to the sport helps establish long-term participation. McKillips noted that youth represents one of the fastest-growing segments in golf and emphasized the company’s responsibility to support this demographic.

Adam Heieck, chief executive officer of Youth on Course, characterized Topgolf as a partner that significantly impacts the organization’s members. Heieck explained that the goal extends beyond affordability to demonstrating that the game is accessible to young people. He described the Topgolf experience as a combination of golf and entertainment, allowing members and alumni to participate in that environment.

The timing of the offer aligns with July being designated as Youth on Course Month, a national celebration of the organization’s mission. Both organizations view this summer as the foundation for a lasting partnership with the shared objective of expanding access for Youth on Course members throughout the year.

Topgolf cited data indicating that youth participation in golf has increased by 40% over the past five years. The company stated that this growth underscores the importance of investing in the next generation of players. Topgolf operates more than 100 venues globally, utilizing Toptracer technology to offer tech-driven games, food, and event spaces.

Youth on Course is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit headquartered in Monterey, California. Since its founding in 2006, the organization has facilitated more than 5 million subsidized rounds of golf for individuals aged 18 and under. These rounds are available for $5 or less at thousands of partner courses across the United States, Canada, and Australia. The organization also supports competitive pathways through the AJGA, Underrated Tours, and the USGA U.S. National Development Team, alongside scholarship and leadership programs.
