THE COLONY, Texas — The Colony Community Development Corporation has scheduled a public hearing on a new community project, with notice posted on the city's official website on June 23.

Details of the proposed CDC project have not yet been publicly released. The City Council agenda for next week's regular meeting is available online at thecolonytx.gov. Residents can view agendas and sign up for notifications through the city's website.

The Colony continues to see significant commercial activity centered on Grandscape, the 400-acre retail and entertainment destination along the Sam Rayburn Tollway. The district recently welcomed White Castle's first Texas restaurant, which broke ground on June 2, and Toca Social, an interactive soccer entertainment venue.

The city encourages residents to attend public meetings and participate in the community development process. Meeting dates, times, and locations are posted on the city's online calendar.
