The Colony’s Local History Committee will lead a walking tour of Bridges Cemetery at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3.
The cemetery gates will remain open until 11 a.m., weather permitting. The site is at the northwest corner of Chesapeake Drive and Morning Star Drive in The Colony.
The cemetery dates to 1889, according to the city’s event listing. The city asks visitors joining the walking tour to arrive for its 9 a.m. start.
