Jennifer Boniol, a former teacher and coach at Lakeview Middle School in The Colony, will lead Lewisville ISD’s student services department as its new executive director. LISD announced the appointment Oct. 5 and posted the news Tuesday.

Boniol’s responsibilities cover some of the district decisions that families deal with most directly: enrollment, transfers, discipline and appeals. The district said her role also includes campus registrar support, Schools of Choice coordination, custody and residency matters, and maintaining the student handbook and code of conduct.

Boniol joined LISD in 2010 and has served as director of student services since 2024. Her 25-year education career includes assistant principal positions at Liberty Elementary and Lewisville High School, as well as her work at Lakeview.

She holds an education administration master’s degree from the University of North Texas and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, according to LISD.
